a street cat I've looked after for almost 6 months left me. He'd come to my office and I'd given him clean water and foods everyday. I've never raised a cat before, he was actually my first cat. whenever I went home, He was tenacious to follow me home. It was kind of torture to me that I had to put away the little cute weak creature. I've considered to take him home and protect him for whole his life tho, my roommate don't like cat and who knows if he want it or not? he seems to like to go up trees and live with nature as well. I didn't want to be selfish human being to the wild cat. I don't know which life is better for him. and I think i don't have any right to decide his life. things I can do for him are to feed him and not to touch him so much. cause as I learned, a wild cat with a scent of human could be alienated by other wild cats. and then, a few days ago, he suddenly left me. I felt a little bit sad and helpless for a while and imagined that the cat'd got road-kill. I regreted that I didn't take him home or try to seek a good family to afford to protect him. but my friend said like "winter is coming and he'd be getting more lonely, so he'd meet a girlfriend and move to her villiage to make a family. if he had become a home cat, He must have been given up being a father." what a true. she made me laugh and comfort. hopefully he is happy, I already miss him
